For Clients

How does payment work?
When you request a booking, your card is pre-authorized (a hold is placed) but not charged. Payment is only captured when the instructor accepts your request. If they decline or don't respond within 24 hours, the authorization is released and you are never charged.
What happens if the instructor doesn't respond?
If the instructor doesn't accept or decline within 24 hours, your booking is automatically cancelled and the card authorization is released. You'll receive an email notification.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. If you cancel before the instructor accepts, no charge is made. If you cancel after acceptance, see our Cancellation Policy for applicable fees.
How do I find the right instructor?
Use the filters on the Search page to narrow by category, location, price range, and availability. Read reviews from verified past clients to make your decision.
Is it safe to share my address for in-person sessions?
Your address is only shared with the instructor after a booking is confirmed and both parties have agreed. Instructors are background-checked and identity-verified.
Can I leave a review?
Yes — but only after you complete a session. This ensures all reviews are authentic and verified.

For Instructors

How do I get approved as an instructor?
Apply through the sign-up page, complete your profile, submit credentials, and pass a background check. We review applications within 2–3 business days.
When do I get paid?
After a session is marked complete (by you or automatically 24 hours after the scheduled time), Stripe transfers your earnings to your bank account. The platform retains a 20% fee.
What if a client cancels after I accept?
If the client cancels after you've accepted and payment has been captured, a partial refund applies per the Cancellation Policy. You'll receive compensation for last-minute cancellations.
Can I offer both online and in-person sessions?
Yes. You can offer either or both. For online sessions, you'll share a Zoom link with the client through the platform.
How do I set up payouts?
Go to your Instructor Dashboard → Stripe Payouts and complete the Stripe Connect onboarding. You'll need to provide ID and bank account details.
